State Police at Bethlehem - crashes

State police at Bethlehem report on the following crashes:

• A 17-year-old girl from Walnutport was cited after a crash at 9:34 a.m. Jan. 30 on the Nor-Bath Boulevard in Allen Township.

Police said she was driving a 2012 Hyundai Sonata that was leaving a gas station when she failed to yield the right-of-way to an oncoming 2000 Ford Windstar being driven by Bryan K. Beale, 48, of Northampton, striking the latter vehicle. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

• Victoria R. Hunsicker, 30, of Emerald, was cited after a crash at 6:28 a.m. Feb. 12 on the Rextown Road in Washington Township. She was uninjured.

Police said she was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox southbound when it left the roadway and struck a mailbox, then continuing southwest and striking a utility pole.

The car needed to be towed from the scene, police said.

• Li Jia Zheng, 23, of Slatington, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a mishap at 3:36 p.m. Feb. 8 on Route 22 in Hanover Township.

Police said she was driving a 2013 Subaru Legacy westbound when she failed to stop in time for the heavy volume of traffic and the car struck the rear of a 2012 Honda Accord operated by Luis E. Pimentel Jr., 19, of Allentown.

Police said both vehicles were towed from the scene. No one was injured.
