Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following last week:

• Bryan Geist, to attend the 55th annual PA State Athletic Director’s Association Conference, March 22-24, in Hershey, with the cost of registration, $325, lodging, $398, and travel, $102, for a total cost of about $826, to be funded through the district’s athletic budget.

• Nicole Nightlinger, Pennsylvania Department of Education Conference, March 1-3, in Hershey, with the cost of registration, $235, lodging, $143, travel, $105, and meals, $80, for a total cost of about $563, to be funded through the district’s special education budget.

• An expulsion hearing waiver for a student. The student and guardian have agreed to waive their right to a formal expulsion hearing in front of the school board, and have also agreed to disciplinary action.
