Rock, comedy coming to the area

Rock and comedy lead the charge of entertainment events at local and regional venues over the next couple of weeks.

Dokken and Lynch Mob will rock Penn’s Peak, also set to host four Irish comedians in one evening. Meanwhile, British rockers Wishbone Ash will play Mauch Chunk Opera House. The latter will also host an evening of comedy, courtesy of Dave Landau.

In the Lehigh Valley, Elvis Costello and Flogging Molly will perform shows at Bethlehem’s Wind Creek Event Center.

Over in Stroudsburg, four tribute bands will bring the music of rockers Tool, Pearl Jam and more to the Sherman Theater stage, all in one night.
