Tamaqua Police reported details on recent incidents:

• A White Haven woman was charged with public drunkenness and drug possession following an incident in the parking lot of a Tamaqua fast food restaurant at 2:14 p.m. Jan. 7.

Police were called to the Cedar Street location after a manager at the restaurant called to report that an intoxicated customer had gotten into her car.

Police responded and found Amy F. Clark, 56, slumped over the wheel. Officers said she had an open container of vodka in the console, a small bottle of whiskey in her hand and a small bottle of Long Island iced tea by her tire.

Officers said Clark was slurring her words and had trouble accessing her purse to produce a driver’s license. While assisting Clark, officers said they found a bottle containing suspected marijuana in her purse.

She was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, open container, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.

• A Tamaqua man faces multiple counts of stalking and harassment charges for repeatedly contacting another man, even though he had been warned not to do so.

Tamaqua police charged Ralph Bolletino, 60, after he sent more than 56 messages to the victim between Dec. 23-24.

In several of the messages, police said he threatens the victim and uses obscene language.

Bolletino received summary harassment by communication charges in 2021 for messaging the man with similar threats.

• A Tamaqua woman is free on unsecured bail after Tamaqua police charged her with simple assault and harassment.

Officers were dispatched to a home on the 400-block of North Elizabeth Street at 6:15 a.m. Jan. 19 for a report of a woman who had broken in and was causing a disturbance. Police arrived and spoke to Mandi S. Gossman, 42, who lives at the residence. Gossman said she and a man were fighting and police observed a laceration on her finger.

Police said the man had bleeding lacerations on his head and nose and scratches on his chest, which he said Gossman inflicted.

Asked why her finger was injured, Gossman told police “probably from hitting (the man)” but she wasn’t sure.

She was taken into custody and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Stephen Bayer, Tamaqua, who set bail at $10,000 unsecured.
