State police at Frackville reported on a traffic stop resulting in charges in Schuylkill County.

On Jan. 7 at 11:37 a.m. a traffic stop was conducted at South West and West Oak streets, in Shenandoah, for traffic violations. A passenger in the 2008 Jeep provided a false name. It was later learned the person was Daniel Quinn, 43, of Mahanoy Plane. Quinn had several active bench warrants for his arrest issued out of Schuylkill County.

Police searched him and found he had drug paraphernalia.

He was processed at the barracks and later transported to the county prison in Pottsville.
