Complaints in replevin

• The People First Federal Credit Union, Allentown, has filed a complaint in replevin against Joseph Rogowitz, 352 W. Bertsch St., Lansford, alleging the defendant has defaulted on a motor vehicle installment contract and security agreement.

The plaintiff is seeking judgment in the amount of $21,660.99, plus interest, and asks the court to issue a writ of seizure directing the county sheriff to seize a 2011 Dodge Ram truck that was purchased by Rogowitz with the funds secured through the contract.

• Advantage Trailer Leasing LLC, Union City, Tennessee, has filed a complaint in replevin against Michael Ferran, 17 Poplar St., Albrightsville, alleging the defendant has defaulted on a rental-purchase agreement and disclosure statement.

The plaintiff is seeking judgment in the amount of $5,119.03, plus interest, attorney’s fees and costs.

• LVNV Funding LLC, Canonsburg, has placed on record a transcript of judgment in its favor against Rickie Green, 5750 Interchange Road, Suite 205, Lehighton.

The judgment in the amount of $4,422.40 was ordered on Sept. 29, 2020, by Magisterial District Judge William J. Kissner of Palmerton.

• The same firm filed a transcript of judgment in its favor against Tiffany Giraud, 316 S. First St., Lehighton.

The judgment in the amount of $1,017.29 was ordered on Oct. 18, 2021, by Magisterial District Judge Erik M. Schrantrz of Jim Thorpe.

• A third judgment in LVNV’s favor is against Nicole Irizarry, 252 S. First St., Lehighton.

It is in the amount of $1,294.83 and was ordered on Oct. 18, 2021, by Schrantz.

• Diana Boyer, 57 E. Maple St., Tresckow, is named the defendant in a fourth transcript filed by LVNV.

The judgment in the amount of $1,444.94 was ordered on Oct. 22, 2021, by Magisterial District Judge Joseph D. Homanko Sr. of Weatherly.

• LVNV also filed a fifth transcript of judgment, listing Alexandra Portella, 446 Dew Drop Drive, Jim Thorpe, as the defendant.

The judgment in the amount of $1,484.39 was ordered on Oct. 18, 2022, in Magisterial District Judge (Ret.) Edward M. Lewis of Jim Thorpe.

• Jefferson Capital Systems LLC, Eatontown, New Jersey, has placed on record a transcript of judgment in its favor against Christine Horn, 2215 Indian Hill Road, Lehighton.

The judgment in the amount of $2,081.83 was ordered on Dec. 2, 2020, by MDJ Kissner.

• Jefferson Capital also filed a transcript in its favor against Frank A. Fragnito, 46 Ponderosa Road, Jim Thorpe.

The judgment in the amount of $1,853.07 was ordered on Dec. 15, 2020, by MDJ Schrantz.

• A third transcript filed by Jefferson Capital is against Leonard L. Michlovsky, 140 Coal St., Nesquehoning.

Ordered by MDJ Casimir T. Kosciolek of Lansford on Oct. 5, 2020, it is in the amount of $1,370.55.

• Rochelle J. Baker, 2343 E. Lizard Creek Road, Lehighton, is named the defendant in a fourth transcript filed by Jefferson Capital.

The judgment in the amount of $4,953.97 was ordered on Nov. 5, 2020, by MDJ Kosciolek.

• In a fifth filing, Jefferson Capital recorded as judgment in its favor against Katheryn M. Schmidt, 722 Lehigh St., Jim Thorpe. Ordered by MDJ Schrantz on June 21, 2022, it is in the amount of $1,697.82.

• A final filing on behalf of Jefferson Capital names Michael M. Blum, 673 Mountain Road, Albrightsville, as the defendant.

The judgment in the amount of $2,205.09 was ordered by MDJ Schrantz on Jan. 12, 2021.

• JHPDE Finance LLC, Eatontown, New Jersey, filed a transcript of judgment in its favor against Matthew Miles, 450 Sand Quarry Road.

The judgment in the amount of $2,417.95 was ordered on March 26, 1019, by MDJ Kissner.

Seeks pole damages

• PPL Electric Utilities, Allentown, has filed a suit against Stilianos Tsemberlis, 22 Pearson Court, Albrightsville, and Patrick Marin, 800 Edgemont Ave., Palmerton, seeking damages that the utility sustained in a motor vehicle crash.

The complaint states on Jan. 3, 2021, Marin was driving a vehicle owned by Tsemberlis that struck the PPL pole at 1509 Mauch Chunk Road, Palmerton, causing $15,712.87 in damages.

PPL is seeking judgment in that amount plus interest and the cost of the action.

Municipal liens filed

• The Borough of Lansford, 1 W. Ridge St., has filed a municipal lien against the heirs of Craig Walters, 348 E. White St., Summit Hill.

The lien is in the amount of $1,053.75 for non-payment of trash fees for the period of the first quarter of 2019 through the second quarter of 2022 for a property at 237 W. Abbott St.

• Lehigh Township has filed six municipal liens, one against Brittany Ladner, 943 Buck Mountain Road, Weatherly, and five against Floyd C. and Marian Hoffman, 190 Decker Lane, Weatherly, seeking judgments for unpaid garbage bills.

The Ladner lien is in the amount of $622.75 for unpaid bills for 2020 and 2021 for a property at the above address.

Four of the liens against the Hoffmans are in the amounts of $336.75 and the fifth one is in the amount of $1,194.75, for properties at 1017 Leslie Run Road, 96 Indian Run Road, 126 Decker Lane, 173 Buck Mountain Road, all for 2019, and 190 Decker Lane, for 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Credit default actions

• Citibank, N.A., Fort Washington, has filed a credit account default action against Scott D. Bonser, 272 Harvard Ave., Palmerton.

Judgment in the amount of $3,993.05, plus costs, is sought.

Mortgage foreclosures

• PNC Bank, N.A., Miamisburg, Ohio, has filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against Guy Tumminello, 1 Kent Clarke Road, Lake Harmony, as executor of the Estate of Thomas M. Tumminello, over a property at that address.

Sought is judgment in the amount of $72,489.09, plus interest, costs and attorney’s fees.

• Citizens Bank, N.A., Glen Allen, Virginia, has filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against William D. and Virginia Allan Compton, 23 Chestnut Road, a/k/a 50 Chestnut Road, Lake Harmony, over a property at that address.

Sought is judgment in the amount of $26,510.13, plus interest, costs and attorney’s fees.

• Freedom Mortgage Corporation, Fishers, Indiana, has filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against Amanda Ebbert, 218 South St., Jim Thorpe, over a property at that address.

Sought is judgment in the amount of $103,440.03, plus interest, costs and attorney’s fees.
