January 6, 1970 - All five Palmerton starting players reach double-digit scoring as the Blue Bombers roll to a 97-64 Lehigh Valley League victory over visiting Emmaus. Tony Choy collects 10 of his game-high 21 points in the opening quarter as Palmerton races to a 28-10 lead. The winners, coached by Art George, receive 17 points and nine rebounds from Reggie Hernandez while Bruce Kocher adds 11 points and nine boards. The Bombers, who extend their winning streak to open the season at nine games, also gain 15 points from Tom Naab and 14 from Randy Stubits.
