Christmas Open House in Lansford

The Lansford Historical Society will present its annual Christmas Open House at the Lansford Museum from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

A special Lionel train operating layout will be featured in the museum this year. The museum also features many exhibits on the history of Lansford. Holiday treats and refreshments will be available. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.

The museum is at 117-119 East Bertsch St., Lansford.

In conjunction with the open house at the museum, the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church across the street from museum will be open. The church features spectacular architecture inside and out, gold domes, a rich heritage and culture, and will be decorated the Christmas season. Admission is free.
