Route 443 in West Penn Township was closed Sunday morning due to a downed utility pole and lines. The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of Penn Drive. West Penn and Mahoning fire police have the road closed between Normal Square and Cold Spring Road. As of 1 p.m. 80 people were without power in West Penn Township.
