State police at Frackville reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers in Schuylkill County:

• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 4:39 p.m. on Oct. 2 along Route 924 in East Union Township.

Troopers said Lilia A. Sanchez Perez, 33, of Mahanoy City, was driving a 2010 Nissan Sentra northbound when she lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a left-hand curve.

The vehicle crossed over the centerline into the oncoming lane and then onto the berm and hit an embankment. The vehicle continued north and subsequently rolled over onto its roof where it came to rest.

Perez sustained a suspected minor injury and was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton campus. The vehicle was towed. She was cited for driving a vehicle at a unsafe speed.

• A driving under the influence charge is pending in a three-vehicle crash at 3:15 a.m. on Sept. 30 along Route 54 in Ashland.

Troopers said Anna V. Ostrikov, 23, of Lebanon, was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Spark eastbound when the vehicle traveled into the westbound lane and then crashed head-on into a 1998 Saturn Ion, which was parked along the berm of the road. The impact pushed the Ion into a parked 1999 Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Ostrikov had a minor injury and was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital East, Pottsville. Troopers indicated she is facing a DUI charge.

• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 1:42 p.m. on Oct. 4 along Interstate 81 in Ryan Township. Ian Urbanski, 39, of Wilkes-Barre, was driving a 2016 Chrysler 200 northbound and attempting to make a lane change from the right lane to the left. Urbanski lost control of his vehicle which spun clockwise and struck a concrete bridge rail on the driver’s side front and rear portions.

Urbanski was not injured.

• A one-vehicle crash occurred at 2:22 a.m. on Oct. 1 along Route 209, at the intersection with Ridge Road, in East Norwegian Township. Troopers said Gabrielle E. Phelan, 19, of New Philadelphia, was driving a 2005 Pontiac Vibe northbound and lost control on a slight left curve. The vehicle went onto the berm and hit a guide rail on the right side.

Phelan was not injured but her passenger, Jacquelyn R. Cortes, 22, of New Philadelphia, had a minor injury and was taken to the Lehigh Valley East Hospital, Pottsville.

• A one-vehicle crash occurred at 10:15 a.m. on Sept. 28 along Morea Road in Mahanoy Township. Troopers said Alyssa E. Gonzalez, 28, of Mahanoy City, was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse westbound when a deer entered the road in front of her. Her vehicle struck the deer, causing disabling damages. Gonzalez was not injured.

• A hit-and-run crash was reported along Mountain Road in Walker Township. Troopers said a vehicle was driven westbound when the driver lost control. The vehicle went onto the right berm. The driver attempted to get back onto the road, however, the 2000 Pontiac Bonneville went over several cornstalks and got stuck in a field.

The driver fled the scene.
