Senior center

The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of Oct. 3-7 is as follows:

Monday: Meatball Hoagie, Potato Wedges, Broccoli, Pound Cake or Turkey Pita

Tuesday: Pork and Sauerkraut, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Applesauce or Antipasto Salad

Wednesday: Breaded Fish, Macaroni and Cheese, Coleslaw, Cottage Cheese and Fruit or Turkey Sandwich

Thursday: Turkey BBQ, Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, Cornbread, Pudding or Salad with Chicken

Friday: Beef Pot Pie, Mashed Potatoes, Peas and Onions, Grapes or Beef Sandwich

The Panther Valley Senior Center has also announced upcoming events for Oct. 3-14.

Po-Keeno on Oct. 3 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Oct. 4 at 10:45; Yahtzee on Oct. 5 at 10 a.m.; Skeeball Tournament on Oct. 6 at 11 a.m.; Games on Oct. 7 at 10 a.m.

Center closed on Oct. 10; Birthday and Bingo on Oct. 11 at 10:45 a.m.; Speaker Liz Bradbury on Learning about the LGBT Community on Oct. 12 at 11 a.m.; Sunshine Meeting on Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. followed by Balloon Tennis; Po-Keeno on Oct. 14 at 11 a.m.

New members always welcome.

PV Golden Agers

The Panther Valley Golden Agers met on Sept. 26 with 22 members in attendance. The meeting was opened with the reading “Anticipation.”

Payment is due for the trip to the Pines Theater on Nov. 17. The group Christmas party is at DiMaggio’s on Dec. 11.

The group meets the second and fourth Monday at the St. Ann Senior Apartments, Lansford at 1 p.m. Anyone 55 and older is invited to attend.
