Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Kupec of Lansford recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple was married on Sept. 23, 1972 in SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Coaldale, by the Rev. Vincent York.

Mrs. Kupec is the former Janet Radocha, daughter of the late John “Yano” Radocha and Mary (Agosti) Radocha of Coaldale. She is a school bus driver for the Panther Valley School District.

Mr. Kupec is the son of the late Joseph J. Kupec and Mary (Makara) Kupec of Lansford. He is retired from Mack Trucks.

They have two children, Joseph M. Jr., at home; and Jamie Lee of Allentown.

To celebrate the anniversary, a family dinner is planned.
