Lansford man pleads guilty in five cases

A Lansford man recently entered guilty pleas in five pending criminal cases in Carbon County court.

Leroy Edwin Hahn, 37, entered his pleas before Judge Joseph J. Matika.

Hahn entered pleas as follow:

One felony 3 count of theft by unlawful taking for an incident on March 31 filed by state police at Lehighton. In exchange for the plea three other felony counts were dropped.

Two felony 3 counts of criminal trespass and flight to avoid apprehension for an incident on April 13 filed by state police at Lehighton.

Misdemeanor counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and defiant trespass for an incident on April 13 filed by Palmerton police. In exchange for the plea felony 3 counts of theft and receiving stolen property were dropped.

Misdemeanor counts of retail theft and tampering with/fabricate physical evidence for an incident on Feb. 1, filed by state police at Lehighton. In exchange for the plea a felony 3 count of alteration or destruction of vehicle identification number was dropped.

Misdemeanor count of conspiracy-defiant trespass fenced/enclosed property for an incident on Dec. 30 filed by state police at Lehighton.

Matika accepted the pleas but deferred sentencing to Dec. 6 ordering that a restitution figure be determined by that date.
