State police at the Stroudsburg barracks apprehended Orlando Morales, 53, of Effort, on a warrant that was out on him, following a traffic stop at 6:47 a.m. Sept. 2 on Interstate 80 in Hamilton Township.

Police said he was driving a 2004 Kia Spectra when he was halted, at which time he resisted arrest, was taken into custody and was lodged in the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville.
