State police at Bethlehem are investigating a theft incident reported on Aug. 26

Troopers said on that date they responded to 8763 Route 873 in Washington Township, Lehigh County, for a report of the theft of a catalytic converter. On scene troopers were told by the owner, a 60-year-old man from Walnutport, that the converter on a Ford diesel truck was stolen while the vehicle was parked at that location. The theft occurred sometime between Aug. 22 and 26.
