Palmerton Police Department responded to 115 calls in July. The following were charged:
• Emmanuelle Dasilva, 31, of Bethlehem, criminal mischief, for an incident on May 16 in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.
• Roshane Walker, 26, Newark, New Jersey, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, on June 30 in the area of the Palmerton Memorial Pool.
• John Miles, 31, Palmerton, simple assault and persistent disorderly conduct, on July 1 in the area of Fourth Street and Delaware Avenue.
• David Hartranft, 18, Palmerton, two counts of driving under the influence, and one count each of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, on July 5 in the 100 Block of Delaware Avenue.
In addition, Palmerton Police issued 37 traffic citations: 10 for expired inspection, six for speeding, five for improper equipment, four for obedience to traffic control devices, three each for window tint and driving under suspension, two for careless driving, and one each for expired registration, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, failure to move over, and investigation by police officer. They also issued 18 non-traffic citations, and 12 traffic violation warnings.
