Golden Agers

The Panther Valley Golden Agers had 21 members attend Monday’s meeting. President Diane Gould opened the meeting with the reading “Prayer For A Friend.” A moment of silence was observed for Arlene Sheets.

The group is planning a trip to Pines Theater, Allentown, for dinner and a Christmas play. Call 570-645-5721 for more information. A Christmas party is being planned for Dec. 11 at DiMaggio’s, Tamaqua. It was decided that if school is canceled this winter because of weather, the meeting will also be canceled.

The group meets the second and fourth Monday of each month at the St. Ann Senior Apartments, Lansford, at 1 p.m. Anyone 55 and older is invited.
