• Tamaqua police charged Randy Minium, 56, of Tamaqua, with disorderly conduct after he threatened a crew member from the Penn Mahoning Ambulance on Aug. 6.
Police said they received a call from the victim, who was dispatched to the 200 block of Bowe Street at 12:15 p.m. for an emergency call. She knocked on the front door, and Minium began screaming at her. Police said he threatened her with his dogs and said he would steal the ambulance. He also threw a ball of paper at her, police said.
A short while later, police learned the medical emergency was at another Bowe Street address.
• Tamaqua police charged a Lebanon woman with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia following an Aug. 8 incident at the intersection of Mauch Chunk and Patterson streets.
Police were dispatched to the area at 6:02 a.m. for a report of a disturbance, and upon arrival, found a purse and shoes scattered across the roadway. The woman, Lisa M. Kissinger, 50, was wearing no shoes, yelling and appeared to be under the influence of methamphetamine. She told police she had back problems and was going to see a friend, but could not remember who it was.
Police retrieved the purse and found it contained a syringe and a container with traces of suspected methamphetamine.
• A Tamaqua man was charged with underage drinking, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct following a 7 p.m. July 26 incident at the Willing Skate Park.
According to Tamaqua police, Anthony Stalgaitis Jr., 18, yelled obscenities at a woman and her child.
When police arrived, Stalgaitis was yelling and smashed his phone on the ground. He admitted drinking vodka.
