The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for the week of Aug. 8-12.

Monday: Chicken fajitas with peppers and onions, chuckwagon corn, orange or chicken chef salad

Tuesday: Glazed pork, cheesy potatoes, beets, pudding or ham and cheese sandwich

Wednesday: Greek chicken, lemon potatoes, zucchini, cake or salad with beef

Thursday: Turkey Florentine, noodles, vegetable blend, apple slices or barbecue chicken salad

Friday: Center closed

The senior center also announced the upcoming events in August.

Po-Keeno on Aug. 8 at 11 a.m.; bingo on Aug. 9 at 10:45 a.m.; Speaker, Funding Solutions for Independence, on Aug. 10 at 11 a.m.; Sunshine Meeting on Aug. 11 at 10 a.m. followed by a Skeeball Tournament at 11 a.m.; Picnic at Memorial Park in Jim Thorpe on Aug. 12 at 9:30 a.m.
