The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following roadwork for the remainder of the week:

Carbon County

• Banks and Packer townships, Spring Mountain Road between Route 93 and Quakake Road, paving, daytime lane restrictions, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lehigh County

• Whitehall Township, Route 22, 15th Street and PA 145/Seventh Street/MacArthur Road, nighttime Milling & Paving. Motorists should expect weeknight lane restrictions between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Route 22 east and west between 15th Street and Route 145/MacArthur Road/Seventh Street for the ongoing US 22 pavement rehabilitation project. Expect delays and please use caution driving through the work zones.

• Interstate 78 between: Exit 49 (PA 100) and Exit 54 (US 222), 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday, Lane restrictions in both directions for construction work that includes replacing median barrier, existing drainage maintenance, accelerated concrete roadway patchwork, paving, guide rail upgrades, signage and pavement markings. Expect delays and please use caution when traveling in work zones.

• Route 22, between Cedar Crest Boulevard and Route 145/Seventh Street/MacArthur Road, ramp closures at the Route 22 interchange with 15th Street. Work will occur from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. This work is part of the ongoing Route 22 pavement rehabilitation project. Expect delays and please use caution driving through the work zones.

• Interstate 78, between Exit 55 (Route 29) and Northampton County line, lane restrictions on I-78 east and west. Expect delays and please use caution driving through the work zone 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• Interstate 78, between: Exit 49 (Route 100) and Northampton County line, Highway Beautification, Work on shoulder areas. This will be a moving operation. Be alert for slow moving vehicles entering or exiting the highway from the shoulder areas on I-78 east or west, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Friday.

Northampton County

• Bethlehem and Palmer Townships, Route 22, between 25th Street Interchange and Bethman Road Overpass, nighttime paving, through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

• Lower Saucon, Bethlehem and Williams townships, Interstate 78 West, between: Exit 75 (To PA 611) and Exit 60 (PA 309), Shoulder work westbound, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday.

• Lower Saucon, Bethlehem and Williams townships, Interstate 78 East, between Exit 60 (PA 309) and Exit 75 (To PA 611), shoulder work eastbound, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.

• Lehigh Township, Indian Trail, between Route 248 and Walnut Drive, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.

• Lehigh Township, Elm Drive, between Blue Mountain Drive and Walnut Drive, lane restrictions. Expect delays and please use caution driving though the work zone, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.

• Lehigh Township, Maple Drive, Route 248 and Mountain View Drive, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.

Monroe County

• Ross Township, Kunkletown Road between Old Route 115 and Weir Lake Road, lane restrictions for roadway base repairs. Expect delays and please use caution driving though the work zone, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Schuylkill County

• Butler and West Mahanoy townships, Route 54 between Girardville Borough and Shenandoah Borough, pothole patching, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Butler and West Mahanoy townships, Route 54 between Girardville Borough and Raven Run Road, shoulder Work/Widening, 7 a.m. To 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
