• Cornerstone Community Church, Kresgeville is hosting Zoomerang VBS, focusing on the wonder and value of life. Each person is made in the image of God! Children age 4 to beginning sixth grade in the fall are welcome to attend. Cornerstone is located in Kresgeville next to the Pleasant Valley Elementary School on Polk Township Road. VBS starts Sunday and continues from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday with a closing program Friday night. Cornerstone Community Church is located at 388 Polk Township Road, next to Pleasant Valley Elementary School. • Child Evangelism Fellowship has announced dates for Good News Day Camp: July 11-15: Valley View, Valley View Park; July 18-22: Pine Grove, Manbeck’s E.C. Church, Rock; July 25-29: Auburn, Christmas Pine Campground; Aug. 1-5: Ashland, Higher Ups Park (near Pioneer Tunnel). • Effort UMC has announced its VBS for July 10-15, with classes being held, primarily in the evening. The schedule is as follows: Sunday, July 10, noon to 2:30 p.m. (lunch provided); Monday, July 11, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (meal provided); Wednesday through Friday, July 13-15, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (meal provided); Sunday, closing ceremony, July 17, 8:30 a.m., with hopes for the youth and families to join the congregation at this service to share their songs of worship and scriptures learned at VBS.

• Zion Church and Calvary Evangelical UMC are sponsoring Vacation Bible School at the Lewistown Valley Tabernacle on July 11-15 from 6 to 8:15 p.m. Children under 4 years of age need an adult to accompany them. • St. Matthew’s UCC is accepting registration for its VBS to be held from 9 a.m. to noon, July 18-22, for children ages 3 to 12. A parent or adult may stay with 3- and 4-year-olds. The theme is Food Truck Party.

• Jerusalem UCC, 545 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville), Invites you to join us for Vacation Bible School July 19-21 from 6-8 p.m. This year we are talking about Miracles of Jesus, focusing on His miracles on the sea and healings. VBS is open to “Littles” who are ages 2 through 5 (who did not attend kindergarten). A parent/grandparent will need to stay with the child the whole time. The Sunday school group is for kids who finished kindergarten through sixth grade. On July 21 we will have a family night for food, fun and games, to highlight Jesus feeding 5,000. • Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Brodheadsville, has announced it is now accepting registration for its Mega Sports Camp, Legendary Journey to the Hall of Fame, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 1-5. • Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Community Vacation Bible School for students pre-K through sixth grade is Aug. 2-4, 6-8 p.m. Registration is free. Please contact the church office for information. In addition, volunteer opportunities are available.
