Weatherly graduate Jacob Solonoski turned in a solid season during his freshman year on the Kutztown University track and field team.

The former Wrecker competes in the discus, shot put and hammer throws with the Golden Bears.

Solonoski posted Kutztown’s top five throws in the discus, with his best a 135-11 at the ESU All-American Meet, which allowed him to place seventh. He also competed in the event at the PSAC Championships and finished in 16th with a throw of 131-11.

At the ESU All-American Meet, the Weatherly native also earned a 17th-place finish in the shot put with a distance of 37-8, and a 13th in the hammer throw with a mark of 119-3.
