The second ordination in the history of the First Congregational Church, Coaldale, and the third in the Benack family took place last Sunday when the Rev. Jesse A. Benack accepted his summons to the ministry.

His ordination follows that of his brother, the Rev. Jeremy W. Benack, who was ordained in the church in 2001.

They are the sons of the Rev. Dr. Wayne Benack, pastor of then church, and his wife, Sharon (Brode) Benack.
