Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following curriculum matters on Monday:
• The purchase of Scholastic LitCamp for use in the Open Horizons Summer Program for a total cost of $5,875, to be funded through ESSER III.
• To sign the CLIU TransPerfect Agreement to provide language interpreting related services as needed for the 2022-2023 school year.
• To enter into an agreement for one Northern Lehigh School District student with special needs to attend Hogan Learning Academy LLC in accordance with the promises and covenants contained in the agreement. The agreement is effective Aug. 22, 2022, and terminates Aug. 18, 2023.
• To sign the Pediatric Therapeutic Services Agreement to provide services to the Northern Lehigh School District, effective July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2025, to be funded through Special Education Budget.
• Approved Nicole Nightlinger as helping teacher for Megan Starner, inductee or new teacher, $200 stipend; Susan Mendes, helping teacher, Susan Holland, inductee or new teacher, $200; and Jennifer Butz, helping teacher, Brittany Warner-Maidman, inductee or new teacher, $200.
