– The Northwestern track teams roll to convincing wins in a sweep of Stroudsburg. The Tiger boys post a 101-49 victory, and the girls record a 101-1/2-40-1/2 triumph. Jim Yost and Scott Thompson both are double winners for Northwestern, with Yost taking the 110- and 300 -meter hurdles and Thompson earning first in the shot put and javelin. Michelle Betz wins the 100 and 200, while Kelly Costello captures the 110 hurdles and the triple jump. Tammy Petros also cops two events - the shot put and discus.
