A free car seat check is set to be held later this month in the Northern Lehigh School District.

The event will be held from 3-6 p.m. April 26 at Northern Lehigh High School, 1 Bulldog Lane, Slatington.

Nationally certified technicians will be on site to educate and ensure proper installation of child car seats within vehicles.

Frank Gnas, Safety and Security Coordinator/School Police Officer, said “this will be our first event here of its kind at Northern Lehigh School District.”

“There will be a compilation of other car seat technicians assisting that are of different careers,” Gnas said. “Some of those examples include police officers, firefighters and nurses.”
