St. John’s Lutheran Church, 319 South Ave., Jim Thorpe, the Rev. F. Peter Muhr, pastor, announced its schedule of events for the Easter season.

Palm Sunday worship, 10:30 a.m. Bach and Handel Chorale Palm Sunday Concert, 4 p.m.

Maundy Thursday, April 14, 5:30 p.m. learning event (teachings of Amy Jill Levine, New Testament and Jewish studies scholar) followed by dinner in the fellowship hall, communion.

Seating is limited. Call the church at 570-325-4255 if you’d like to attend (limit 60).

Freewill offering for dinner.

April 15, Good Friday service at 2 p.m.

Easter Sunday, 9:15 a.m. Sunday Church School with Easter egg hunt and classes; 10:30 a.m. Festive Choral Communion and Glorified Cross.
