Woman found to be in possession of large amounts of methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine
The Pennsylvania State Police Bethlehem barracks have charged a Slatington woman with drug possession after large amounts of methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine were found during a search of her apartment.
At 6:10 a.m. Jan. 20, the Pennsylvania State Police SERT East Team searched the residence of Jennifer Richardson, 39, in the 400 block of Second Street.
A K-9 indicated the presence of narcotics in the second floor rear room known to be Richardson’s bedroom.
Police seized:
• Six plastic bags of methamphetamine
• 12 clear plastic bags containing marijuana
• A clear plastic vial and a bag of cocaine
• A tin skull can, a rectangular metal box and a wooden box containing methamphetamine
• Six blue wax packets stamped “First 48” containing heroin
• Nine glass smoking pipes contained suspected methamphetamine residue
• Seven digital scales
• Four plastic baggies with picture of a Panda Bear on front
• A Q-Link Scepter 8 Black Tablet
• A plastic bag containing numerous small plastic baggies
• A gold/bronze ring.
• Numerous markers with Richardson’s name and address
Four of the plastic baggies with a picture of a Panda Bear on the front located in Richardson’s bedroom were identical to plastic baggies containing methamphetamine sold to a Pennsylvania State Police confidential informant by Richardson before this operation.
All items seized were transported to PSP Bethlehem.
The weights of the narcotics seized were about 5 ounces (140 grams) of methamphetamine; 2 pounds (870 grams) of marijuana; 10 grams of cocaine; and six wax paper packets (1 gram) of heroin.
Richardson faces charges on two counts each of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, and intentional possession of controlled substance by person not registered; and one count of use/possession of drug paraphernalia.
She is currently incarcerated in the Lehigh County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 monetary bail, and scheduled to have a preliminary hearing May 4 before District Judge Tom Creighton of Slatington.
