The Polk Township supervisors took the following actions during their monthly meeting on Monday:

• The SALDO amendment regarding recreational fees will be advertised and discussed at the April 18 supervisors meeting. It is on www.polktwp.org.

• Approved the Teamster 773 union contract for three years.

• A hearing date for the ground source heat pumps ordinance, which can be found on the township website, has not yet been set.

• Announced that the Polk Township Park Educational Day is May 1. Vendors are needed and may email the township office if interested.

• During the fire department’s report, it was announced that the West End Firemen’s Festival will be held June 2-4 at the fairgrounds in Gilbert.
