A high school theater program along with one student-athlete in the Northern Lehigh School District were lauded for their recent achievements.

Superintendent Matthew J. Link congratulated the Northern Lehigh Little Theatre on this year’s production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” (2022).

“I was able to see it Sunday afternoon; it was excellent,” Link said. “Bravo to all the cast, crew, Mr. (Christopher) Hamm, the director, and Mr. (Stephen) Shuey, the arts director for the program; it was another excellent representation of what our students can do here.”

Also on Monday, Link congratulated senior wrestler Matt Frame, who placed third in districts, fifth at southeast regionals, and was also a state qualifier.

“So he had a very successful senior season, not only on the football field, but also on the wrestling mats,” he said.
