Penn’s Peak announces new shows

Penn’s Peak announces Mike DelGuidice will be back on the Jim Thorpe stage on July 22.

DelGuidice is one of Long Island’s most celebrated performers.

In October 2013, Billy Joel heard Mike sing, was so impressed, Joel personally hired Mike to join his band.

Mike’s encyclopedic knowledge of the Billy Joel catalog made him a perfect fit as background vocalist and guitarist.

DelGuidice is the author of two albums “My Street” and “Miller Place.”

Mike and his band, Big Shot, are well-known for providing a show of Billy Joel’s song book packed with hit after chart-topping hit in a high energy, interactive stage performance.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets, the Penn’s Peak Box Office and Roadies Restaurant and Bar. Penn’s Peak Box Office and Roadies Restaurant ticket sales are walk-up only, no phone orders.

Other shows announced

The entertainment venue also announced additional shows to its already packed 2022 lineup.

• Eric Gales with special guest Vanessa Collier will take the stage on May 13.

Gales has over 30 years in the business and has used personal revelation in his lyrics and bold stylistic twists in his guitar playing and songwriting to reinvigorate the blues art form.

Five years sober, Eric is ready for the fight of his career. Aptly, he calls his masterful new album, “I Want My Crown.” Eric opens like never before, sharing his struggles with substance abuse, his hopes about a new era of sobriety and unbridled creativity, and his personal reflections on racism.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.

• Hollywood Nights, a Bob Seger Experience, will perform on July 16.

The 10-piece band re-creates the music of Seger and prides itself on continuing the groundwork laid down by Bob over the last three decades.

Tickets for the concert go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 23.
