Regarding your article in the Opinion section Jan. 17, I was extremely disappointed. You tried to mislead us.

Everyone can see how you mixed drug addiction with the immigration issue. Why don’t you be honest and just address each issue separately. No, you want to mix immigration with the drug issue. Yeah, all of those immigrants are drug dealers, mules, etc. Right?

Next, you will be blaming inflation on drug use. Why not? It makes about as much sense.

You must think your readers are stupid, linking drugs with immigration. We will always have immigration problems. Even if illegal immigration was stopped we would still have a serious fentanyl problem. The solution to drugs is to treat it as a medical issue, not a control issue.
