NL high school students recognized for perfect scores on civics tests

A group of Northern Lehigh High School students have attained perfect scores on their Act 35 Civic Knowledge tests.

High school Principal Robert Vlasaty announced at last week’s school board meeting that eight students had accomplished the feat.

“One of our graduation requirements at Northern Lehigh High School is to take civics and take the assessment of civic knowledge,” Vlasaty said. “Today, I am proud to present to you eight of these amazing students, last year’s juniors, this year’s seniors, who earned a perfect score on this assessment.”

Those who were honored were Gabe Artimovich, Dameon Brad, Brooke Delancey, Brianna Hess, Alicia Quatrocchi, Skylar Schellenberg, Robert Schramel and Mason Walsh.

Superintendent Matthew J. Link said it was important to “recognize some of our amazing high school students who accomplished something quite remarkable.”
