Penn’s Peak announces three new shows

Penn’s Peak has announced three new shows have been added to the 2022 concert lineup.

• Green River – A Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival & John Fogerty will perform at 8 p.m. on Feb. 19.

The band is the top touring Creedence Clearwater Revival/John Fogerty Tribute Show in the nation, and is the brain child of native New Yorker Rick Horvath.

Noodles, as he is affectionately known, was born to perform this music. He started singing CCR songs in his very first band when he was only 13 years old.

The show is very faithful to a live CCR performance. Listeners enjoy their favorite CCR classics “Bad Moon Rising,” “Proud Mary,” and “Up Around the Bend,” as well as songs that Creedence would turn into live jams such as “Born on the Bayou” and “Susie Q.”

• On March 25, Winger and FireHouse will take the stage.

Winger is one of the most misunderstood hard rock bands to emerge from the late 1980s with hits like “Better Days Comin’,” “Midnight Driver of a Love Machine” and “Out of This World.

Formed in 1987, Winger soared to immediate success with their 1988 self-titled release. The band went on hiatus in 1994 following the release of their critically acclaimed third album “Pull.”

In 2001, the band reunited and have not looked back since.

FireHouse has been rockin’ for over a decade. Their music has taken them all over the world and has produced Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum records in the United States and countries abroad.

In 1990, their first album, titled “FireHouse,” was released. The band’s first single, “Shake & Tumble,” had impressive radio success. The band then released “Don’t Treat Me Bad,” which became their first Top Ten hit.

• The Music of Randy Travis, performed by James Dupré, will take place on May 14.

The timeless country-music hits of Randy Travis will be celebrated on a new tour featuring Dupré, the Country Music Hall of Fame member and “The Voice” alum.

At each show, Dupré will front Travis’ original touring band of 25 years and perform the singer’s 16 Number One hits including “Forever and Ever, Amen.”

Enjoy video highlights and commentary from Randy Travis himself along with his wife, Mary.

Tickets for Green River are on sale now, while tickets for Winger and Firehouse, as well as The Music of Randy Travis go on sale at 10 a.m. on Jan. 12 at all Ticketmaster outlets, the Penn’s Peak Box Office and Roadies Restaurant and Bar.
