The public is invited to a free Sober New Year’s Eve celebration in Tamaqua.

The event will be held on Dec. 31 at the Perla Enterprise Building, 105 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, from 8 p.m. to midnight. There will be free food, games and music.

The event is co-hosted by Safer Streets for Tamaqua’s Little Feet, New Roots Recovery Support Center and Hope and Coffee.
