The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week, but be advised that road work schedules may change as needed during COVID-19 mitigation or due to changes in the weather:

Carbon County

• East Penn Township, Route 895 crack sealing between Route 248 and Schuylkill County line, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

• Kidder Township, Route 534 brush cutting between River Road and Route 903, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Lehigh County

• Upper Macungie Township, Route 100 lane restriction between I-78 and Kernsville Road, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

• Allentown, I-78 highway beautification between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Northampton County Line, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

• Washington Township, Neffs Laurys Road/Church Road/Reservoir Road drainage between Route 145 and Mountain Road, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

• Whitehall Township, Route 22 East highway beautification between I-78 and Schoenersville Road, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

• Upper Saucon Township, median barrier road repair on Route 309 at Center Valley Parkway, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

Monroe County

• Stroud Township, Dreher Avenue pothole patching between Manor Drive and Main Street, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

• Chestnuthill Township, Route 115 lane restriction between Gilbert Road and Route 209, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Northampton County

• Lower Saucon Township, I-78 westbound shoulder work between Exit 75 and Exit 60 (Route 309), 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday.

• Lower Saucon Township/Bethlehem Township/Williams Township, I-78 eastbound shoulder work between Exit 60 and Exit 75, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday; westbound shoulder work on Tuesday.

• Lehigh Township, Route 248/Lehigh Drive lane restriction between Timberline Road and County Line, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

No reported road work for Schuylkill County.

Note from PennDOT: All driver license and photo centers will be closed Saturday, December 25, 2021.
