High winds have knocked out power to many throughout the region.

As of 9:15 p.m., PPL is reporting 1,352 customers without electricity in Carbon County. That includes

East Penn Township, 107; Franklin Township, 34; Kidder Township, 2;

Lower Towamensing Township, 65; Mahoning Township, 2; Packer Township, 3;

Penn Forest Township, 5, and Towamensing Township, 1,134.

In Lehigh County, 146 customers are without power in Washington Township and 24 in Slatington.

Monroe County has 712 without power, including 8 in Chestnuthill and 114 in Polk Township.

In Schuylkill County, 855 outages were reported, including 2 in Rush Township; 30 in Ryan Township, 11 in West Mahanoy Township and 161 in West Penn.
