Thirty-six members of American Fire Company No. 1, Lansford, were honored for 50 or more years of service to the company during a testimonial dinner held at the Lansford American Legion Post Home.

Presiding over the event were banquet committee members George Krajnak Sr., president of the company and fire chief; Ron Hood, a trustee and lieutenant; John Turcmanovich Jr., first assistant fire chief; Kevin Collevechio, trustee; John Racko, vice president; and Edwin Stickler, financial secretary and trustee. The latter was among the honorees, having been a company member for 67 years.

Mayor Dr. John Polumbo offered remarks during the program.
