Attorney William Schwab of Lehighton has been named “Businessperson of the Year” by the Future Business Leaders of America at both the state and local levels.

On Wednesday during a FBLA breakfast program held at the Lehighton Area High School, he was presented a plaque by Michele Fredericks, president of the local chapter, who also announced the recipient had also been named to receive the honor at the state level.

Mrs. Mary Sniscak, adviser of the LAHS chapter, said the award is based on the lawyer’s “interest in and support of FBLA,” which she said, Schwab “has done for many years with much enthusiasm.”
