Northern Lehigh School Board recently approved the following curriculum and instruction matters:

• Purchases through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund grant for learning loss include: a three-year Smart Music license for the elementary band program, $3,305; Zearn for Peters Elementary and Slatington Elementary school, $2,500 per building (2021-2022 school year); 50 Nifty Active Books, $850; and Heggery Phonemic Awareness Videos, $80 for one year.

• Classroom set of textbooks with five-year digital license for the eighth-grade Intro to Spanish course, $6,879, funding through district curriculum and instruction budget.

• Four one-year S’More subscriptions to be used by building and district administration at a cost of no more than $600, to be funded through respective building and department budgets.
