Credit defaults

The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

First National Bank of Omaha, Omaha, Nebraska, filed an action against Roseann Stamato, 6 White Birch Lane, Jim Thorpe, seeking $31,849.41.

TD Bank USA, Canonsburg, filed the following actions: Howard Gregory, 323 Grist Mill Road, Weatherly, seeking $7,168.37; and Roxanne L. Trainer, 112 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, seeking $4,458.67

Mortgage foreclosures

Sought is $174,752.81 and continuing interest.

American Advisors, c/o 3600 Horizon Drive, King of Prussia, filed an action against Gerald Todd, 1303 Carolina Court, The Villages, Florida; Joseph Todd, 48 Davids Lane, Howell, New Jersey; and unknown heirs, successors, assigns of Margaret Todd, deceased, over property at 219 Mountain View Drive, Jim Thorpe. Sought is $207,332.63 and continuing interest.

Contract defaults

First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, 6126 Hamilton Blvd., Allentown, filed two civil actions seeking damages, alleging the defendants defaulted on a retail installment sale contract.

The defendants and amount sought are:

Scott Kevin Hein, 2387 Germans Road, Lehighton, $21,078.06 plus interest, costs and fees.

Zachary Paul Wandzilak, 242 E. Fell St., Summit Hill, $14,715.73 plus interest, costs and fees.

Fall suit

Philip Coniglio, 18 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, filed a civil suit seeking damages against the Dollar General Store Corporation, for an incident at its business location at 1125 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning.

The suit states on Feb. 6, 2020, the plaintiff was a business invitee at the store when he was caused to fall due to PVC pipes that were sticking out from the sidewalk at the store. The suit alleges the defendants had notice and knew about the pipes sticking out of the sidewalk which caused the plaintiff to fall sustaining injuries which are detailed in the suit.

Sought are damages in excess of jurisdiction requirements for mandatory arbitration.
