Brian Snyder, a member of the Schuylkill-Carbon Marine Corps League, was honored Saturday night for his dedication to the group’s Toys for Tots program.

Snyder was presented the “Marine of the Year” award by the league during its annual dinner program held in the Lehighton American Legion Post.

He was presented the award by James Laub, commandant of the unit. Distinguished Service awards were also presented to Louise and Bud Stofik, who coordinate the annual Toy Run for the Toys for Tots program, and Clifford Focht, who is very active in the Marine Corps League.
