A boil water advisory has been lifted in Slatington.

It has been in effect since Thursday after crews working on a traffic light hit a water main.

Borough Manager Dan Stevens said this morning that the boil water advisory that had been in effect since Thursday is over.

The main had been repaired but water had to be boiled until tests revealed it to be safe.
