The grand opening of Home Savings and Loan Association’s Carbon Plaza Mall office in Lehighton this weekend marks the 54th anniversary of the rapidly expanding organization.

The ceremonies will celebrate the establishment of the association’s fifth branch office, a color-coordinated office that offers a charming country atmosphere complete with seaport murals.

In addition to opening the new office in Lehighton, Home Savings and Loan Association’s main office in Tamaqua is undergoing extensive renovations.

Organized in 1920, the association provides a safe and convenient method for people to save and invest money.
