State police at Lehighton are investigating a hit-and-run crash that was reported on Oct. 19 at 10:14 a.m. along Interchange Road (Route 209), at the intersection with Polk Township Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said a vehicle was traveling westbound on 209 and entered the eastbound lane to pass a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander, driven by Jaele L. Clarke, 26, of Kunkletown. The passing vehicle struck the Outlander on the driver’s door. The other driver then fled the scene.

Clarke was not injured and she was able to drive the vehicle from the scene.
