Those who enjoy the sweet sound of music as they bask in the great outdoors are in luck.

Sponsored by The Venture Group of Northern Lehigh, The Gathering at 92 will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Slatington Trailhead.

Jenni Hackett, featured singer with Steel Creek, will perform from noon to 3 p.m., while The Groove will follow with a performance from 3:30-6 p.m.

The event is possible through the generous donations by NT Assoc. Inc., Diggity Dog and More; Buzzy’s Collision; and the D&L Trail Systems.

There will also be sample produce from Appalachian Farms, some featured wine from Blue Mountain winery, and food from Diggity Dog and More.

The Venture Group consists of local nonprofit groups that promote the well-being of the area.

They are responsible for the upkeep of the Slate Heritage Trail, and the restrooms and pavilions along the trail.
