Mrs. Lucy Breslin was named senior citizen of the year last night by the Summit Hill Senior Citizens Club. She was honored at a dinner attended by 100 people in the Summit Hill American Legion Post Home.

The widow of George W. Breslin, she was an organizer and the first president of the Summit Hill Senior Citizens Activities Center and was recognized last night for her faithful service as secretary to the club.

Breslin is a charter member and the first secretary of the Summit Hill American Legion Auxiliary; a past president of the St. Joseph’s Guild of Catholic Women; and a past president of the Summit Hill Women’s Club.

The former Lucy L. McMichael, she graduated from Summit Hill High School in 1919.
