October 1, 2010 - Shane Edwards carries 37 times for 225 yards and three touchdowns to power Jim Thorpe to a 24-6 Anthracite Football League victory over Shenandoah Valley. Edwards opens the scoring in the opening quarter when he breaks free for a 65-yard TD run. He later adds a 1-yard tally and a 25-yard sprint to the end zone. The Olympians, coached by Mark Rosenberger, also receive a 54-yard scoring pass from Sean Green to Ben Moore. Thorpe’s defense intercepts four passes, one each from Green, Ryan Boileau, Jon Fritz and Josh Dean.
