Edwin Hauser was installed as commander of the Mader-Gaydos American Legion Post 269, Palmerton, during a ceremony this week at the Palmerton Hotel.

Other officers seated are Steve Selisky, first vice commander; Stephen P. Vlossak, second vice commander and judge advocate; Barthold Zeiser, adjutant-finance officer; Lowell Strohl, chaplain; Nicholas Muniz, sergeant-at-arms; Joseph Plechavy, service officer; and Stephen Tobia, historian. Tobia is also the outgoing commander of the post.

District 30 Commander Harry J. Wynn III of Lehighton was the installing officer.
