The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week, but be advised that road work schedules may change as needed during COVID-19 mitigation or due to changes in the weather:

Carbon County

• Banks Township, Cigar Plant Road drainage between Route 93 and Chestnut Street, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

• Mahoning Township, Dinkey Road restrictions between Ben Salem Road and Route 895, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

• East Penn/Bowmanstown, Route 895 restriction between Route 248 and Schuylkill County line, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

Lehigh County

• Upper Macungie, South Whitehall Township, of City of Allentown: Route 22 construction I-78 and 15th Street, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday to Friday.

• Whitehall Township, Route 22 milling and paving between 15th Street and Route 145/MacArthur Road, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday.

• Allentown, Salisbury Township: I-78 construction between Exit 55 and Exit 60, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday.

Monroe County

• Multiple townships: Route 33 North lane restriction between Northampton County line and Route 611, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

• Stroudsburg Township, Route 447 restriction between Route 191 and Stokes Mill Road, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday; Route 611 crack sealing between Route 33 and Rimrock Drive, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

• Eldred Township, Smith Gap Road lane restriction between Jonas Road and Carbon County line, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Northampton County

• Lower Nazareth Township, construction between Route 33/Route 248 Interchange and Route 33/Hecktown Road Interchange, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.

• Bethlehem Township, Route 22 inspection between Route 33 and Route 512 (Bath Pike), 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
